Executive Team

With more than 17 years in the real estate industry, Jeanette Colaianni, Leasing Director and Registered Property Manager at SMA Equities, has been actively involved in nearly all facets of the industry. throughout her career at SMA Equities, she has represented the Company on transactions involving commercial and residential leases for many years and oversees a Long Island portfolio for the firm, as well as several of the mixed-use assets in Manhattan.

Ms. Colaianni began her professional career as an account executive in medical equipment and office automation. But following her passion for real estate, she quickly ensconced herself in the industry, earning awards and accolade for her unparalleled performance. The consummate multi-tasker, Ms. Colaianni is, today, in charge of multiple administrative tasks, including leasing and billing. In addition, she participates in many of the Company’s legal proceedings, tenant-landlord relations and conflict resolution.
 

Although she was primarily tasked with administrative duties when first joining SMA Equities in 2008, she has made the most of a holistic approach to the field by also becoming adept at apartment and office rehabs, preventative maintenance programs, contract bidding, and negotiation. Jeanette Colaianni’s approach to achievement has made her a leading member of the management team.
